Always do what you are afraid to do

New technology provides new opportunities. In many industries, new innovative companies creates new opportunities by using new technology in new ways, and often succeeds at the expense of established companies that are too concerned about yesterdays mechanisms.

In this presentation from the BreakFastForward seminar the 18th of June 2013 at MediaFront I presented some of these changes using my own experience with designing, producing and distributing my new photo-book; "Mzungu by Jarle Naustvik".

A project that had been impossible only a few years ago, but is now a possibility due to new players such as Blurb.com and Portfoliobox.net who dare to challenge traditional thinking, by offering smart and user-friendly tools and services, built on new business models adapted to the current market.
