Two years ago on this date (3rd of January) I was lucky to spend some relaxing and peacfull time on a long white sandy beach close to the small village Uroa at Zanzibar Island. I had a great time observing the local fishermen and kids fishing and playing at the beach.
These are some of the shots I took this date two years ago.

A perfect day in Uroa
Wildlife Safari Photography
Back in Januar 2011 I visited Tanzania as a part of a journey "around the world". Tanzania is one of the best safari destinations you can choose in Africa. There's an incredible amount of wildlife in a wide variety of national parks and game reserves, some of which only receive a hand full of tourists every year.

Speeding Around The World
Time is Nothing // Around The World Time Lapse from Kien Lam on Vimeo.
I never get tired of looking at this great travel video from Kien Lam. What a great way of telling a story with 6237 photographs from 17 countries around the world in just 5 minutes. A real inspiration!
Surf´s Up

Shot on this day one year ago @ Santa Theresa beach in Costa Rica. One of our last days with lazy days and surfing before moving on to Buenos Aires.
Gargantua del Diablo
Iguazu Falls with it´s 275 waterfalls, is one of the largest waterfalls in the world. The sound of 12,750 cubic m water per second is a powerful and exiting experience you can´t imagine before you get there.
Iguazu Falls is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are also a part of the New7Wonders of Nature.
In top to the right is the view point of Devil´s Throat entering from Argentina. The platforms on the left is the view point entering from Brazil.

Lion King

It´s something special when you meet lions up close at daytime. At first sight they look so relaxed and peaceful , but soon you realize your looking at a real killing machine.
This male lion was the leader in a group of 14 lions that was just a few meters from our safari car in Selous Game Reserve, south in Tanzania.
Man am I lucky
This split second, standing at Zanzibars shores watching a new day rises was one of many moments I felt totally free during my trip around the world. At the same time I felt so humble knowing that I´m probably one of the luckiest person in the world being able to leave my ordinary life and just explore and enjoy life. No worries, appointments or any other disturbing elements, just pure life for seven months!
Man am I lucky.
